Oppo Find X9: Oppo Find X9 leaks reveal a 6.59-inch flat OLED display, a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging, triple 50MP cameras, and the Dimensity 9500 chip, with prices starting around $635. Launch is expected in October 2025.

Sometimes the best upgrades are not the loud ones but the useful ones. Oppo upcoming Find X9 is turning heads because of how well it seems to handle the basics. Leaks hint at changes that could make life easier for anyone using it every day. If true, it may turn into one of the most reliable flagships this year.

Flat OLED display makes a comeback

One of the biggest changes is the switch to a flat 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This move ditches the curved edges of older Find models, making the screen easier to handle and less prone to accidental touches.

The use of LTPO means the refresh rate can scale smoothly from 1Hz up to 120Hz, saving power when viewing static content and delivering fluid animations when scrolling or gaming. Oppo is also said to be including an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which is generally faster and more reliable than optical sensors, even with wet fingers.

7,000mAh battery with fast charging

Battery life looks like the Find X9 biggest selling point. Leaks point to a 7,025mAh battery, far larger than the average flagship. That could mean multi-day endurance for most users, even on 5G.

Despite the huge size, Oppo is not slowing down on charging. Reports suggest 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, giving users a quick top-up when needed. It is a rare balance of big capacity and fast charging that should appeal to power users.

Triple 50MP cameras tuned for consistency

Instead of chasing extreme megapixel counts, Oppo seems focused on consistency across all cameras. The Find X9 is tipped to include:

  • 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary lens with OIS
  • 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide camera
  • 50MP Samsung JN9 periscope telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom and OIS

The front will reportedly house a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera.

Oppo is expected to continue its Hasselblad partnership for color tuning and also bring its own Lumo Imaging system to improve low-light photos. The idea here is not just to impress on paper, but to deliver more reliable results from every lens.

MediaTek power and refined software

The Find X9 is said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, the same one rumored for the X9 Pro. It should ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, offering new animations and a polished interface. Oppo executive Pete Lau has already hinted at smoother visuals and a cleaner look for the software.

Everyday extras and durability

The Find X9 will also carry the small touches that improve day-to-day use. Leaks mention the return of the Plus Key, a customizable action button that power users enjoyed on the Find X8 Pro. Expect dual stereo speakers, a stronger X-axis haptic motor, and IP68/69 water and dust resistance.

Expected launch and price

Most reports suggest the Find X9 will launch in October 2025 in China, after the National Day holidays, with a wider rollout to follow. One tracker has hinted at an estimated India price of ₹52,990, which converts to around $635 in the US. This pricing suggests Oppo could undercut rivals like Samsung and OnePlus in the premium segment.

The Oppo Find X9 is not about reinventing the wheel. It is about fixing the basics with a flatter, faster 6.59-inch screen, a truly massive battery, consistent cameras, and smart extras. If Oppo delivers on these leaks, the Find X9 could be one of the most practical flagships of the year.
