Vivo X300 Pro: The Vivo X300 Pro Satellite Communication Edition is getting closer to launch after clearing both 3C and MIIT certifications in China. The upcoming flagship is confirmed to support 90W fast charging and will bring Beidou satellite messaging, letting users stay connected even without network coverage. Vivo X300 Pro Satellite Edition clears certifications

A device with the model number V2502DA, believed to be the X300 Pro Satellite Communication Edition, has surfaced on China’s 3C certification database. This approval is one of the final steps before retail launch, further supporting the October timeline.

Earlier, the same model cleared MIIT certification, which revealed support for short messaging via the Beidou satellite system. This feature will allow the device to send texts and coordinates even in areas where traditional cellular service is unavailable. Vivo is expected to market this as a standout capability of the Satellite Edition, making it a practical tool for outdoor adventurers and emergency situations.

The MIIT filing also confirmed wider connectivity. The phone supports NR SA/NSA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, and GSM standards, along with 5G-enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) for higher speeds. It will be a dual-SIM dual-standby Android device with 5G cross-network roaming, making it versatile for frequent travelers.

Expected specs and hardware

The Satellite Edition is rumored to ship with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. It is expected to feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, plus a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.

For cameras, reports suggest a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera with OIS. Paired with Vivo’s V3 and VS1 imaging chips, the phone should deliver sharper and faster photography performance.

Launch timeline

With 3C and MIIT certifications completed, the Vivo X300 Pro Satellite Communication Edition is nearly ready for release. All signs point to an October launch in China, where it is expected to debut alongside the standard Pro model. Vivo special edition looks set to combine flagship performance with a lifeline feature keeping users connected even when networks fail.
