Samsung has released One UI 8 Beta 7 for the Galaxy S25 series, likely the final step before the stable rollout. Based on Android 16, the update carries build tag ZYI3 / S93xBXXU5ZYI3 with the September 1, 2025 security patch.
In Europe (EUX, SM-S938B), the package is 602.77 MB with versions S938BXXU5ZYI3 / S938BOXM5ZYI3 / S938BXXU5BYI3. In South Korea (SM-S938N), the size is 552.62 MB with versions S938NKSU5ZYI3 / S938NOKR5ZYI3 / S938NKSU5BYI3. Users can keep using their phones during installation, with a restart required to finish.


Fixes included in Beta 7
- Fixed an issue where the clock on the lock screen kept shifting further down.
- Fixed Bluetooth audio interruptions.
- Fixed an issue where the Stretch font style wasn’t applied.
- Fixed an issue where, after the update, characters you typed were displayed too thin in the navigation bar, status bar, and PIN lock screen.
- The Quick launch icon no longer disappears during use.
- Fixed stuttering of the clock when unlocking/locking the lock screen.\
How to get the update
Galaxy S25 users enrolled in the One UI Beta Program can check for the update through the Samsung Members app under Settings > Software update > Download and install.
With Beta 7 now live, the stable One UI 8 release is expected by mid-September.
