vivo is rethinking its flagship formula with the upcoming X300 Pro, and the biggest change is right on the front. For the first time in the series, a Pro model is going completely flat with a large 6.78-inch display. According to Boxiao, the design looks noticeably different, with the X300 Pro shown alongside the standard X300 to emphasize the new approach.

Instead of chasing dramatic curves, vivo is focusing on comfort and usability. The phone very rounded corners, combined with a slightly tapered bezel, create what Boxiao calls a “large-screen friendly” build. The aim is to make the Pro look expansive while still feeling slimmer, lighter, and easier to handle than most big phones.
Boxiao also suggested that changes extend to the back of the device. He mentioned “significant investments” in the camera design and housing craftsmanship, though the full details are being kept under wraps for now. This indicates that the Pro will not only offer a cleaner front look but also introduce a refreshed rear design.
The vivo X300 and X300 Pro are expected to launch in China next month, with more details promised in the coming weeks.
