Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro Spotted with Sleek Design and January 2026 Launch

Samsung newest flagship prototype teases a sleek design with magnetic wireless charging technology and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera hinting at more powerful photography.

CAD-based renders reveal that the Galaxy S26 Pro closely mirrors the standard Galaxy S26 in overall layout. A pill-shaped rear module groups its three cameras into a streamlined, unified element.

On the display front, Samsung has enlarged the screen slightly, now measuring approximately 6.3 inches. This tweak nudges up its overall footprint to around 149.3 × 71.4 × 6.96 mm, or 10.23 mm including the rear module

All control keys remain on the right side, stacking the volume buttons above the power lock button. The device features flat aluminum and glass surfaces, with gently curved edges for a comfortable grip.

Inside, the Galaxy S26 Pro is expected to run on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, branded ‘for Galaxy’ and overclocked for extra performance. Exynos support may return in select regions.

Memory likely jumps to 16 GB of RAM, stepping up from the previous 12 GB standard in the S25, a change likely prompted by enhanced AI processing demands.

Battery capacity is rumored to reach 4,300 mAh, topping the S25’s 4,000 mAh power pack, though Samsung appears to hold off on carbon-silicon cell tech for now.

A notable upgrade comes in the camera suite, with the ultrawide shooter now reportedly offering 50 megapixels a significant upgrade over the 12-megapixel setup it replaces.

The entire S26 series will feature embedded magnets to support the Qi2 magnetic charging standard. That likely means Samsung will drop support for reverse wireless PowerShare.

Expect the Galaxy S26 Pro to launch in the first quarter of next year, with a possible January debut for the lineup.
