Oppo Pad 5: OPPO Pad 5 leaks reveal a 12.1-inch 144Hz display, Dimensity 9400+ chip, and a 10,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Launch is expected in October with the Find X9 series.

A new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has given us our first proper look at the upcoming OPPO Pad 5, and the specs suggest it could be one of the most capable Android tablets of the year. The device is tipped to launch in October, possibly alongside the Find X9 series in China, giving OPPO fans a fresh lineup before the holiday season.

Big screen designed for work and play

The Pad 5 is said to feature a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 3K+ resolution and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. That combination should make reading, note-taking, sketching, or gaming feel seamless. The display is also expected to support stylus input, making it useful for both creative users and students.

Strong performance with MediaTek power

For performance, OPPO is expected to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, built on a 3nm process for better speed and efficiency. The tablet may launch in multiple versions: 8+128GB, 8+256GB, 12+256GB, and 16+512GB. These choices should give buyers flexibility, whether they need a simple setup for streaming or a powerhouse for multitasking.

Big battery to last all day

Battery life is another highlight. The Pad 5 will reportedly pack a 10,165mAh (10,300mAh typical) cell with 67W fast charging, offering enough stamina for all-day use with quick top-ups. The tablet should weigh around 579 grams, which is reasonable for its size, and may come in Gray, Silver, and Purple finishes.

Cameras are simple, with 8MP sensors front and back, keeping the focus on performance and display quality.

A OnePlus version could be coming too

Interestingly, leaks suggest a OnePlus Pad 2 could share the same hardware, just in different colors. That would not be surprising given OPPO and OnePlus’ history of shared platforms.

With its large display, powerful chip, and long battery life, the OPPO Pad 5 is shaping up as a practical, performance-first tablet that could rival Samsung and Apple mid-range options.
