POCO has given Indian buyers a pleasant surprise with the launch of a new 4GB Limited Edition variant of the M7 Plus 5G. For those who have been waiting for a more budget-friendly version of this powerful phone, this model could be the perfect fit. It will be sold exclusively through Flipkart, with early access for Black and Plus members beginning on September 22, while the first open sale goes live on September 23.
What is new in the Limited Edition?
The only change is in the memory. The M7 Plus will now be available in a 4GB RAM option, joining the existing 6GB and 8GB versions that launched last month. POCO says this move was made to cater to “strong consumer demand for an even more affordable performance-driven smartphone.” Since it is branded as a Limited Edition, the company may release it in smaller numbers compared to the other models. While the exact price and storage details have not yet been revealed, the phone will certainly be placed below the current lineup.
Same powerful hardware inside
Despite the lower RAM, the smartphone keeps all its core specifications. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, and comes with 128GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card.
One of the biggest highlights is its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse wired charging. This makes the device ideal for long usage and even allows it to serve as a mini power bank.
The phone features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth performance for gaming, scrolling, and streaming. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
For cameras, users get a 50MP main sensor on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner ensures quick and secure unlocking.
Pricing outlook
Currently, the 6GB/128GB model is priced at ₹13,499, while the 8GB/128GB version costs ₹14,499. Both are offered in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver. The new 4GB Limited Edition is expected to be priced lower, making it an attractive pick during the festive sales season.
