Huawei’s next flagship wearable, the Watch Ultimate 2, has been exposed in detailed leaks that highlight design tweaks, upgraded battery tech, and rugged build traits. The following outlines what is known ahead of its expected unveiling.
The leaked images show a circular dial design in two finishes a white-silver look and a darker model. The case retains the 48.5 mm diameter of its predecessor, along with minimal bezels. On the right side there are two distinct hardware buttons and a rotating crown.
Battery improvements appear central. The Watch Ultimate 2 is rumoured to use “High-Silicon Stacked Batteries” that raise energy density by about 37 percent, yielding as much as 65 percent more capacity compared to the 530 mAh cell in the original Watch Ultimate.
Durability remains a priority. The wearable carries IP68 and IP69 ratings from a TÜV listing, suggesting resistance to dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets. The watch is likely to retain dive-friendly credentials such as those in the earlier model.
Some new hardware flair emerges. Leaks show extra sensors on the case’s right side whose functions are unconfirmed. Regulatory filings hint the device may include ultra-wideband and satellite SMS support.
Pricing and launch appear settled. Reports suggest the Watch Ultimate 2 may cost around €899, matching the predecessor’s premium price. Expected reveal date is September 19, when Huawei is already set to present its Watch GT 6 series.
