iQOO 15: iQOO 15 sets a new Geekbench record with 12,402 multi-core on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, adds full-scene ray tracing via Gaming Chip Q3. Reservations open; event Sept 23.

The iQOO 15 is looking to be one of the most powerful Android phones yet, thanks to its latest Geekbench 6 results. A device listed as vivo V2505A, strongly believed to be the iQOO 15, has posted numbers that push Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 to fresh highs, signaling what gamers and power users can expect next month.

Record-breaking CPU and GPU scores

The benchmark run shows a single-core score of 3,824 and a multi-core score of 12,402, the highest yet for Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip. The listing also confirms 16GB RAM and boosted CPU clocks, with two prime cores at 4.61 GHz and six performance cores at 3.63 GHz. This aggressive tuning explains the big leap compared to earlier sightings.

On the graphics side, the iQOO 15’s Adreno 840 GPU scored 27,844 points in Vulkan and 23,531 in OpenCL, delivering serious muscle for gaming, AI, and next-gen visuals. Notably, these results put the iQOO 15 ahead of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max in multi-core performance, where Apple’s top score peaked around 11,000.

iQOO’s e-sports event and Gaming Chip Q3

Today, iQOO confirmed that it will host the iQOO 15 e-sports performance technical communication meeting at 14:30 on September 23 under the theme “cross-generation leading” and “challenging new peaks in e-sports performance.” At the same time, the company officially opened reservations for the iQOO 15 across all channels.

At this event, iQOO will unveil its self-developed Gaming Chip Q3, which debuts full-scene ray tracing in Genshin Impact. Real-world comparisons show major differences with ray tracing on and off, from ultimate skill animations to dungeon lighting and open-world exploration. Impressively, iQOO has achieved what even Apple could not delivering full-scene ray tracing in Genshin Impact on a smartphone.

Combined with the iQOO 15’s 2K Samsung display and high refresh rate, this technology promises a gaming experience that could surpass Apple’s flagship devices in visual fidelity.

Early outlook

From its record-setting Geekbench scores to console-grade ray tracing powered by the Q3 chip, the iQOO 15 is positioning itself as a true gaming-first flagship. Official posters further tease a circular rear camera module with RGB lighting, reinforcing its bold, performance-driven design. With launch momentum already building, the iQOO 15 looks set to dominate the high-performance smartphone race in 2025.
