The Motorola Edge 70 has just leaked, and it looks like a big step forward for the brand. An early render months ago made it seem like a copy of the Edge 60, but a new image shared by Evan Blass shows something very different  a slimmer body, a flat screen, and bold new colors.

The leaked image shows a sleek green finish with a Pantone color tag on the back, confirming Motorola’s ongoing design partnership. The camera island features three lenses and a flash, each framed by bright lime green rings, with a matching accent on a side button. This detail was not seen in the earlier render and gives the phone a more playful, fashion-driven style.

Another big shift is the display. Instead of the heavy curves of the Edge 60, the Edge 70 appears to use a much flatter panel, which should help with usability and reduce glare.

What truly sets this phone apart is Motorola’s new tagline: “Impossibly thin and incredibly tough.” The Edge 60 measured around 7.9 mm, but reports suggest the Edge 70 could push closer to the 7 mm mark, something Motorola has not attempted outside of its foldables. With rivals like Apple’s iPhone Air and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge also chasing thin designs, Motorola seems ready to compete head-on.

Expected to launch in late 2025 or early 2026, the Edge 70 could be Motorola’s most stylish and practical phone in years.
