Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max: Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max could be the most powerful Reno yet, featuring a 200MP camera, Dimensity 9400 chip, LTPO OLED display, and a huge 6500mAh battery. Here is everything we know so far.
Oppo is ready to step up its game with the upcoming Reno 15 Pro Max. Leaks suggest it will feature a flat LTPO OLED display, a powerful 200MP Samsung camera, a huge 6500mAh battery, and the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. If true, this phone could be the most advanced Reno yet built for people who want flagship power, great cameras, and long battery life at a reasonable price.
Premium design and flagship display
The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This panel resembles those used in Oppo’s previous flagships but now includes a major upgrade of LTPO technology. This allows the refresh rate to dynamically drop as low as 1Hz when the screen is idle, saving power and improving battery efficiency.
Oppo’s design language continues to evolve toward a sleeker and more premium look, with slimmer bezels, a refined metal-glass body, and a flat-edge finish that feels comfortable in hand.

Dimensity 9400 brings flagship performance
The Reno 15 Pro Max runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset the same flagship-class processor that powered the Find X8 series. It delivers near top-tier performance, comparable to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, with notable improvements in CPU and GPU efficiency.
Paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the phone promises fast app launches, responsive gaming, and smooth multitasking. Oppo is also expected to include an improved cooling system to maintain steady performance during long sessions.
Cameras built to impress
The camera system is where Oppo seems to be taking the biggest leap. The Reno 15 Pro Max is rumored to feature a 200MP Samsung HP5 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens and an ultrawide sensor. On the front, the device will reportedly house a 50MP selfie camera.
Oppo is also expected to enhance the camera performance with its custom LUMO image processing technology, first introduced with the Reno 14 Pro. This promises improved dynamic range, richer colors, and sharper low-light performance turning the Reno 15 Pro Max into a true camera-first smartphone.
Big battery, software, and connectivity
While the exact battery capacity is still being finalized, multiple reports suggest a massive 6,500mAh unit the largest ever in the Reno lineup. The LTPO display and power-efficient Dimensity 9400 will further help extend screen time.
The device will come with Android 16 and ColorOS 16 out of the box, offering smoother animations, better multitasking, and refined battery management. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, rounding out a complete modern smartphone experience.
Expected pricing and availability
According to early leaks, Oppo plans to debut the Reno 15 lineup in China later this year, followed by a global rollout including India in early 2026.
Industry insider Brar suggests Oppo aims to keep the Reno 15 Pro Max priced competitively, just under ₹55,000, which roughly converts to around $660 USD or €610 EUR. This pricing aligns closely with the previous generation and makes it an attractive option in the premium mid-range category.
