If you have been waiting for an affordable yet powerful Android tablet, POCO has something exciting on the horizon. The much-anticipated POCO Pad M1 has appeared on the Geekbench AI database, confirming key specs and suggesting that it could be a rebranded Redmi Pad 2 Pro.

These results were achieved using TensorFlow Lite on CPU, confirming Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 power with an 8-core layout clocked up to 2.71 GHz and 8 GB RAM. The unit tested ran Android 15, though an update to Android 16 is likely after launch.

Familiar design and strong specs
The POCO Pad M1 is expected to share much with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which launched in September with the same chipset. It should feature a 12.1-inch LCD display (1600 × 2560, 120 Hz), 128/256 GB storage, and 8 MP cameras on both sides. A large 12,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast and 27 W reverse charging rounds out the setup.
Launch expected soon
After receiving TDRA certification in October and now appearing on Geekbench, the POCO Pad M1 seems close to a global launch, possibly alongside the POCO F8 Pro and F8 Ultra. With its strong hardware and likely aggressive pricing, it could become one of the best mid-range tablets of 2025.
