Apple is preparing a refreshed Apple TV 4K for 2025, promising faster performance, smarter Siri features, and upgraded wireless technology, with rumors pointing to a built-in camera and lower price, making it one of the most exciting streaming devices of the year.
An exciting upgrade arrives as Apple plans a new Apple TV 4K before year’s end, aiming at improved speed, smarter controls, and a friendlier price.
Apple may launch the new model between September and December 2025, possibly during the iPhone 17 event in early September.

The expected processor is the A17 Pro, originally found in iPhone 15 Pro, bringing 15 – 30 percent faster CPU and GPU performance.
This chip upgrade might enable Apple Intelligence features like smarter Siri, actor recognition, and content suggestions tailored to viewers.
A redesigned wireless component possibly named “Proxima” may add support for Wi‑Fi 6E or even Wi‑Fi 7, along with Bluetooth 5.3, improving streaming and smart‑home integration.
Apple will introduce its own Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth chip, replacing Broadcom, reducing costs while improving connectivity across Apple devices. There are hints that the device could include a built‑in camera, aimed at FaceTime on big screens and on‑screen gesture control.
Apple may price the new unit under $100, which would be around a $30 drop compared to the current 64 GB model.
Some users feel the new build does not offer enough to warrant an upgrade, noting the existing model already delivers excellent video and audio.
The 2025 Apple TV 4K looks set to offer a meaningful chip boost, wireless improvements, AI-enhanced experience, possible camera, and friendlier price point making it a tempting option.
