Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Buds 3 FE will be the first Fan Edition earbuds with native Google Gemini AI integration, giving users real-time assistance directly from their earphones. The company also revealed that these buds come with the highest battery capacity of any Galaxy Buds yet, positioning them as a smarter and longer-lasting option than even the Pro model.
Samsung’s new Buds 3 FE embrace a stem-style shape reminiscent of the Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro, now paired with silicone tips for better fit and passive noise isolation. They arrive in matte black and gray, featuring a semi-transparent charging case for a modern touch.
In a notable upgrade, battery capacity nearly doubles over its predecessor—each bud now holds 100 mAh (200 mAh total), and the case delivers 900 mAh. On paper, that translates to up to 8.5 hours of listening with ANC off, or 6 hours with ANC active, and total battery life stretches to 30 hours with the case—or 24 hours with ANC on.
Samsung’s active noise cancellation has been improved through a six-mic array, including one microphone inside each stem positioned nearer the mouth to sharpen call clarity and voice pickup. Ambient sound and voice isolation features round out the audio capabilities, complemented by auto device switching and “Find My Earbuds” support.
The Buds 3 FE support Galaxy AI tools such as real-time translation and voice-activated commands. Together with Google’s Gemini, users can trigger AI features through voice or tapping the stem.
Fans get premium features at a lower price $149.99 in the United States, with a limited-time $30 discount via trade-in. Sales kick off September 4, 2025. In India, prices hover near ₹11,499, with earlier leaks referencing a $129 price tag and a possible mid-August delivery window.
