Google Rope Wristlet: Google is following Apple’s move by launching a new Rope Wristlet for Pixel phones, just after Apple introduced its crossbody strap with the iPhone 17. The $7 wrist strap is light, colorful, and built to keep your phone secure on the go. It is one of the most affordable accessories Google has added to its Pixel lineup.

The design is simple yet fun. The Rope Wristlet is made from soft polyester with a subtle Google logo and a metal carabiner for secure attachment. It comes in three two-tone color options Purple/Blue, Green/Yellow, and Black/Grey giving your phone a playful pop of style. The strap measures 9 inches long by 3 inches wide, making it comfortable for daily use while still easy to carry in a pocket or bag.

Installation is straightforward. Google includes a thin D-ring insert that slides between your phone and its case, providing a sturdy anchor point for the carabiner clip. In the box, you get the wristlet, the phone insert, and the carabiner ring, but a phone case is not included. While the accessory is branded for Pixel, it works with most slab phones and standard cases. The only exception is the Pixel Fold lineup, which Google lists as incompatible.

Launching shortly after Apple’s crossbody strap for iPhone 17, Google’s Rope Wristlet takes a simpler, more affordable approach. It may not feel premium, but it delivers exactly what it promises: peace of mind, a touch of color, and one less worry when you are on the move. At just $7, it is a practical little upgrade that many Pixel users may find surprisingly useful.
