Honor 500 Pro: The Honor 500 Pro leak hints at a compact powerhouse with a 200MP camera, 64MP periscope lens, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and the largest battery in its class all coming later this year.
If you like phones that are easy to hold but still super powerful, the upcoming Honor 500 Pro could be the one to keep an eye on. A new leak suggests it will pack serious hardware: a 200MP main camera, 64MP zoom lens, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a big battery. It looks like Honor is building a compact phone that feels premium and performs like a flagship.
200MP camera and powerful zoom
The Honor 500 Pro is said to feature a 200MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size, offering sharper detail and better low-light photos than its predecessor, the Honor 400 Pro. It will be joined by a 64MP periscope telephoto camera using OmniVision’s OV64B sensor, capable of 3× optical zoom.

Early testing reportedly shows better color accuracy and zoom performance, suggesting that Honor is serious about improving its camera game.
Snapdragon 8 Elite and massive battery
Under the hood, the phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, a major step up from the 400 Pro’s Snapdragon 8’s Gen 3. This promises faster performance, smoother gaming, and improved AI features.
The phone’s battery is rumored to be the largest in its class, potentially around 7,200 mAh, making it one of the longest-lasting smartphones in its range.
Display, design, and release
Both the Honor 500 and 500 Pro are expected to feature 6.5-inch OLED displays with a high refresh rate. The design will likely remain sleek and lightweight, perfect for one-hand use.
