Infinix is gearing up to expand its Hot 60 series lineup in India with the launch of the Hot 60i 5G on August 16. Coming just a month after the Hot 60 5G’s debut, the new model will focus on delivering 5G performance at a more affordable price point while introducing a refreshed design and a battery that could outlast most in its category.
The Hot 60i brand name is already familiar to Indian consumers. In July, Infinix released the Hot 60i 4G, aimed at entry level buyers. Now, the company is stepping up with a 5G variant, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. Paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, it will offer enough power for daily multitasking while keeping costs in check. This lower RAM setup compared to the Hot 60 5G’s 6GB is a clear signal that the Hot 60i 5G will launch at a sub-Rs 10,000 price, with early market estimates placing it at around Rs 9,499.

The Hot 60i 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals for browsing, gaming, and video streaming. A waterdrop notch at the top houses the selfie camera, giving the phone a clean, functional look while maximizing usable screen area.
Fresh Design and Color Choices
The rear of the device has undergone a design overhaul. Infinix has adopted a horizontal camera module, a style reminiscent of more premium models like the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2. Buyers will also have the option to choose from three distinct color finishes: Black, Blue, and Turquoise, giving them the flexibility to match their personal style.

Photography gets a notable boost with a 50MP wide main sensor with autofocus, supported by an auxiliary lens and dual-LED flash. The camera system supports HDR and panorama shooting modes, with video recording up to 1440p@30fps and 1080p@30fps. On the front, there is an 8MP wide selfie camera that also supports video recording, ensuring sharp selfies and clear video calls.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will launch in India on August 16 and will be available exclusively via Flipkart.
