iQOO 15: iQOO 15 launches in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite, a bright 2K Samsung “Everest” LTPO OLED, a 7000mAh single-cell battery, 100W charging, and a triple 50MP camera. Here are the key specs, prices, and why it matters for gaming and power users.
The iQOO 15 is now official, and it is built for those who love power and performance. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite with iQOO’s new Q3 gaming chip for smooth gameplay and fast multitasking. The phone packs a bright 2K Samsung display, a large 7000mAh battery with 100W charging, and IP68 protection. With its 50MP periscope camera and strong build, the iQOO 15 is ready for gaming, photos, and daily use alike.
Performance and gaming
Under the hood sits the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite (3 nm) with Adreno 840 graphics. iQOO pairs it with the Q3 gaming coprocessor, which boosts frame rates, enables full-scene ray tracing, and applies smart super-resolution to keep 2K visuals sharp while saving power. iQOO is targeting 144 FPS in supported titles, backed by an “8K VC Ice-Dome” cooling stack. The vapor chamber area is rated at 14,000mm², helping the chip hold high clocks in real games, not just short benchmarks.

Memory and storage options include 12 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR5X, plus 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1. The 16 GB + 1 TB model lists LPDDR5X Ultra Pro with a quad-channel layout for extra bandwidth. OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 handles the software side with iQOO’s gaming tools and Jovi features.

Design and display

You get a 6.85-inch AMOLED at 3168 × 1440 with Samsung’s newer M14 “Everest” emitters. It is an LTPO panel that shifts smoothly from 1 Hz to 144 Hz. Color depth is 10.7-billion, contrast is 8,000,000:1, and the screen-to-body ratio reaches 94.37%. Brightness claims from press demos cite about 1000 nits manual, 2600 nits full-screen, and peaks up to 6000 nits so outdoor visibility should be excellent. Extra display perks include 2160Hz PWM dimming, DC Dimming, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Despite the battery, the phone stays fairly slim. Size is 163.65 × 76.80 mm. Thickness varies by finish: 8.10 mm (Racing), 8.17 mm (Legend/Wilderness), and 8.28 mm (Lingyun). Weight ranges from 215 g to 221 g.
Battery and charging

The headline is a 7000mAh Blue-Ocean single-cell battery. Single-cell construction helps energy density and simplifies thermal paths during fast charging. Wired charging is 100W, wireless is 40W, and reverse OTG is supported. The phone works with PPS/PD protocols and includes a smart bypass to reduce heat during gaming while plugged in.
Cameras

On the back is a clean triple-50MP setup with Sony optics:
- 50MP main with OIS (f/1.88), Sony IMX921, 1/1.56-inch
- 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS (f/2.65), Sony IMX882, 3× optical and up to 100× digital
- 50MP ultrawide (f/2.05)
All rear cameras support video stabilization with capture up to 8K. The 32MP front camera (f/2.2) records up to 4K. An RGB LED strip around the camera module adds subtle notifications and gaming flair.

Haptics, audio, and extras
Stereo sound comes from Symmetric Dual Speakers Pro, while a “Warhammer MAX” dual-axis motor delivers tight, punchy haptics. Security relies on the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader and Face Wake. The phone is rated IP68/IP69 under China’s GB/T 4208-2017 lab tests. As usual, liquid damage is not covered and protection can decrease over time.
Sensors and motion features
The iQOO 15 includes a complete set of modern sensors for gaming and motion control. It supports a gravity sensor, photosensor, proximity sensor, electronic compass, and a physical gyroscope for precise movement tracking. It also adds front and rear color temperature sensors, a 3D ultrasonic single-point fingerprint sensor, a Hall sensor, an infrared remote control, and a flicker sensor to enhance camera stability and display accuracy. The Warhammer MAX dual-axis motor further elevates the tactile feedback during gaming and typing.
Connectivity
There is dual-nano 5G with a very wide band list (SA/NSA/VoNR notes), Wi-Fi 7 (2.4/5.1/5.8 GHz), Bluetooth 6.0 hardware (premium codecs including aptX Lossless and LHDC 5.0 via OTA), full-function NFC, USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1) with analog and digital audio support, OTG, and multi-band satellite positioning (GPS L1/L5, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS).
