Nubia Z80 Ultra: Nubia Z80 Ultra spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 16GB RAM, Android 16, and 100W fast charging. A huge 7,100mAh battery, full-screen OLED with 144Hz, and a powerful 50MP camera make it a flagship to watch in 2025.
The Nubia Z80 Ultra has just shown up on Geekbench, and the results point to a powerhouse in the making. Powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, this upcoming flagship looks ready to mix top speed with long battery life and a clean, modern design. With fresh certifications in China confirming its features, the launch is getting closer.
Geekbench scores confirm serious power
Spotted under the code NX741J, the Z80 Ultra managed a single-core score of 3,669 and a multi-core score of 11,309 on Geekbench 6.5.0. These numbers put it firmly in the elite bracket for Android devices, confirming that Qualcomm’s latest chip is more than capable.

The listing also reveals a CPU setup with eight cores, featuring two top-tier cores at 4.61 GHz and six performance cores at 3.63 GHz. Alongside that, the phone is packed with 16GB RAM (listed as 14.88 GB) and runs Android 16 right out of the box. For gamers, creators, and power users, this means faster app launches, smoother multitasking, and headroom for demanding tasks.

Charging and battery upgrades
China’s 3C certification further confirms that the Z80 Ultra supports 100W wired fast charging, an upgrade over the 80W speeds of its predecessor. Pair that with the rumored 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, and the device looks set to offer both big endurance and quick top-ups.
Design and camera focus
Leaks suggest Nubia is sticking with its signature full-screen OLED design, this time with an improved under-display selfie camera that eliminates punch-holes and notches. The screen is expected to refresh at 144Hz, promising ultra-smooth scrolling and gaming performance.
On the back, the Z80 Ultra is tipped to feature a 50MP main camera with a 35mm lens for a natural field of view, plus a periscope telephoto shooter for zoom versatility. Combined with Nubia’s camera-first approach, this setup could rival the best in the market.
