OnePlus 15: A CB Test Certificate shows the OnePlus 15 with 121W charging, a 7,000mAh battery, IPX0 rating, and a surprise shift to the LUMO Image Engine.

The OnePlus 15 is already making headlines with its latest certification. It points to blazing 121W charging, the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (Elite 2), and a bold new camera design. With hints that OnePlus could move away from Hasselblad, this flagship might look and feel very different from past models.

Certification confirms faster charging

A CB Test Certificate (ID: SG PSB-IV-14933) issued by TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore lists model number CPH2747, strongly believed to be the global OnePlus 15. The certification reveals a rated input of 11V/11A, translating to 121W charging support. While brands typically market this as 120W, the document proves the device is capable of peak 121W.

The paperwork also places the phone under Class III safety standards and lists an IPX0 rating. This does not represent the retail waterproof rating it only applies to the lab’s safety evaluation.

Model numbers linked to OnePlus 15

The leak fits neatly into OnePlus naming pattern. Reports show that the model numbers PLK110, CPH2745, CPH2747, and CPH2749 are all associated with the OnePlus 15 family, sharing the same PJ project code 24831. Here, PLK110 corresponds to the Chinese variant, while CPH2745/47/49 represent global models. This strengthens the case that the certified device is indeed the OnePlus 15.

Why charging speed matters now

The OnePlus 15 is expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery, with some leaks hinting at 7,300mAh. Pairing such a massive capacity with 121W wired charging means users could get hours of use after only minutes on the charger. The phone is also tipped to feature 50W wireless charging, adding convenience for fast top-ups.

Display, performance, and security

The device is rumored to include a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPO display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, ideal for gamers and heavy users. According to Geekbench, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (Snapdragon 8 Elite 2), 16GB of RAM, and run Android 15 out of the box. Security may also see an upgrade, with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner expected.

Cameras and imaging strategy

On the back, OnePlus may abandon its circular design in favor of a square camera island. The setup is said to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Reports further suggest that OnePlus might end its Hasselblad partnership, instead relying on its own LUMO Image Engine, signaling a major shift in its camera strategy.

Configurations and launch timeline

The OnePlus 15 is expected to launch in October 2025 in China, alongside the OnePlus Ace 6, before rolling out globally in early 2026. Variants may include 12GB+256GB up to 16GB+1TB, with finishes in Black, Purple, and Titanium.

With 121W charging, a massive battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (Elite 2), and bold new camera changes, the OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting flagships of the year.
