The Oppo Find X9 Pro is already creating buzz even before its launch. Early leaks suggest this flagship could bring some of the biggest changes Oppo has made in years. From design to performance, everything points to a phone built to feel more powerful, more polished, and more useful in daily life. Cameras-50MP main and 200MP periscope
The rear camera system is tipped to be one of the most advanced yet on an Oppo phone. Leaks say the primary sensor will be a 50MP Sony LYT-828, sized at 1/1.28 inches with a 23mm focal length and an f/1.5 aperture, aimed at delivering better low light detail. The ultra-wide camera is expected to be a 50MP Samsung JN5 with autofocus at f/2.0, making close-up and wide shots sharper without needing a separate macro lens.
The biggest change is the zoom setup. Oppo is reportedly switching from two telephotos to a single 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. Specs include a 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/2.1 aperture, a 70mm focal length, and even a 10cm minimum focus distance perfect for detailed telemacro shots. This could also make the Find X9 Pro the first smartphone to debut the HP5 sensor.
The selfie camera is also getting a major boost: a 50MP Samsung JN5 with autofocus, a big step up from the 32MP fixed focus shooter on the Find X8 Pro. Rounding out the setup, a 2MP flicker/color sensor is expected to help with white balance and image processing.
Display, design, and durability
The Find X9 Pro is said to come with a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo’s LIPO technology should make the bezels slimmer, while 2.5D glass keeps the edges neat. Security is expected to improve with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Design wise, the large circular camera island of the Find X8 Pro is rumored to be replaced by a cleaner, rectangular module in the top left corner. The device should also bring IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance for durability. Wireless charging is expected to support 50W speeds.
Battery and chipset
Another headline feature is the massive 7,500mAh battery, a size rarely seen in mainstream flagships. Reports suggest Oppo is prioritizing both endurance and safe charging, pairing this battery with 50W wireless charging and fast wired options.
Performance is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process, putting it head-to-head with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Apple’s A18 Pro.
Launch and expected pricing
Leaks suggest the Oppo Find X9 Pro will launch in September or October 2025 in China, with a wider global release soon after. Based on Oppo’s pricing history, the Find X9 Pro could debut around ₹69,999–₹74,999 in India and $999–$1,099 in the US, directly competing with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra and Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max.
