Oppo Find X9 Series: Oppo Find X9 series launches October 16 in China with ColorOS 16, Dimensity 9500, Hasselblad cameras, and massive 7,500 mAh battery.
Oppo has confirmed the Find X9 series will launch in China on October 16, 2025. ColorOS 16 arrives a day earlier at the 2025 Oppo Developers Conference. Expect faster performance, big batteries, and Hasselblad-tuned cameras. A global rollout is coming too, confirmed by Oppo’s Chief Product Officer Pete Lau.
Dimensity 9500 and Trinity Engine
Both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will run on MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 processor, built to deliver more power with better efficiency. The chip introduces a new CPU design that supports advanced gaming features like hardware ray tracing.

To complement this, Oppo is adding its in-house Trinity Engine, which manages multitasking and power distribution intelligently. This means smoother gameplay, faster app switching, and better thermal control during heavy use.
ColorOS 16 Arrives First

The phones will ship with ColorOS 16, which launches on October 15 a day before the hardware reveal. Based on Android 16, the new interface comes with smoother animations, AI-driven enhancements, and an updated design. Oppo has also confirmed that ColorOS 16 will roll out to other devices including the OnePlus 15, OnePlus Ace 6, and Oppo Pad 5.
Bigger Batteries and New AI Button
Battery life will be a major highlight. The Find X9 packs a 7,025 mAh battery, while the Pro model steps up to 7,500 mAh some of the largest batteries seen on a modern flagship. These will be paired with Oppo’s trademark fast charging system.

Another new feature is a dedicated physical AI button, giving users instant access to system-level AI tools and shortcuts.
Displays and Cameras
The standard Find X9 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, while the Pro model may use a sharper 2K panel. Oppo has also teased its Bright Eye Protection Screen, offering 3,600-nit peak brightness, 1-nit readability at night, and reduced blue light for eye comfort.
For imaging, Oppo continues its collaboration with Hasselblad. The Find X9 Pro is tipped to house a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera alongside improved wide and ultra-wide lenses. The regular model may offer a triple 50 MP camera system and a 32 MP front camera. To support creators, Oppo is also working on a Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit accessory.
Availability
The Oppo Find X9 series will officially launch in China on October 16, 2025. Pre-reservations for the Find X9 Pro are already live on Oppo’s official online store. Pricing details have not been revealed, but given the premium upgrades, both models will sit at the top end of the flagship market. A global release will follow after the China debut.
Why It Matters
With giant batteries, powerful AI features, advanced displays, and Hasselblad cameras, Oppo is positioning the Find X9 series as one of the most complete Android flagships of 2025. By pairing hardware innovation with the launch of ColorOS 16, Oppo is aiming to make its new lineup a true competitor to Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi in the premium segment.
