Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max: Leaks suggest the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max could be exclusive to China, leaving global fans disappointed. Here’s what we know about its specs, design, and why Oppo might be keeping it local.

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max was expected to be the most powerful phone in the Reno 15 series. But a new leak brings disappointing news it might not launch outside China. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, Oppo will release three models in China: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Max but only the first two may reach global markets.

Oppo’s surprising decision

The leak, first shared on X (formerly Twitter), claims Oppo has no plans to release the Reno 15 Pro Max globally. Oppo has not confirmed this yet, but it follows a familiar pattern where brands keep their top models exclusive to home markets, likely for testing or supply reasons.

This means buyers outside China could miss out on the most advanced Reno model, which was expected to deliver the largest screen, best camera setup, and biggest battery in the series.

The specs that built the hype

Earlier leaks revealed that the Reno 15 Pro Max may feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset. It could pack a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 6,500mAh battery, running on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.

The phone is rumored to launch in China later this year, while the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are expected to arrive globally in early 2026.

If true, the Reno 15 Pro Max will join the list of high-end phones that stay exclusive to China. International users might still get strong Reno 15 models, but not the full “Pro Max” experience unless they import it, with the usual risks of limited support and updates.
