Poco F8 Ultra: The Poco F8 Ultra, also known as the Redmi K90 Pro in China, is rumored to feature a triple 50MP camera system with a large main sensor, true periscope zoom, and a sharper ultrawide lens bringing flagship-level photography to Poco’s lineup.
The next Poco flagship could finally bring the camera upgrade fans have been hoping for. Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming Poco F8 Ultra, which will launch in China as the Redmi K90 Pro, is getting major improvements with bigger sensors and a real optical zoom, something never seen before on a Poco phone.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, ensuring top-tier performance and advanced image processing to complement its upgraded camera system.

The Redmi K90 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra will share the same main camera, using a 1/1.3-inch OmniVision sensor, the very same one used in the Xiaomi 17. It is expected to offer an f/1.7 aperture, 23mm focal length, and optical image stabilization (OIS). This setup represents a big step up from the 1/1.55-inch sensor used in the K80 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, promising brighter, sharper, and more stable shots.
The main sensor is rumored to be a custom OmniVision unit featuring Xiaomi’s Light Fusion branding, designed to enhance dynamic range and low-light detail.
For zoom photography, both phones are said to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using a 1/2.76-inch Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor. This lens is expected to support 2.5x–3x optical zoom and could also double as a telephoto macro camera, allowing close-up photography with impressive sharpness.
The ultrawide camera will reportedly use an OmniVision OV50M sensor, offering 50MP resolution and a 1/2.88-inch size, a massive jump from the 32MP, 1/3.42-inch unit used previously. This upgrade should improve clarity, reduce distortion, and maintain consistent color across all lenses.

The Poco F8 Ultra / Redmi K90 Pro will mark a new era for Poco imaging game, focusing more on real photo quality than raw specs. The Redmi K90 Pro is expected to debut in China later this month, followed by the global Poco F8 Ultra launch soon after.
