Vivo OriginOS 6

Vivo OriginOS 6 : Vivo officially launches OriginOS 6 with a stunning glassy design, smoother animations, and advanced AI tools. The update debuts globally on October 15 with BlueOS 3 for wearables and CarLink 3.0 for cars.

Vivo has officially launched OriginOS 6, its new Android 16-based software, at the 2025 Vivo Developer Conference. The update brings a fresh glassy look, smoother animations, and smarter AI for a more natural experience. Along with it, Vivo also introduced BlueOS 3 for smartwatches and CarLink 3.0 for cars, moving closer to a fully connected ecosystem across all its devices.

AI at the Heart of OriginOS 6

Vivo has made AI the core of its software experience. The new Live Photo AI Removal tool lets users erase unwanted people or objects even from moving Live Photos rivaling Google’s Magic Eraser and Apple’s Clean Up tool.

Other new AI tools include:

  • AI Assistant for smarter voice prompts and quick summaries.
  • Circle to Search 2.0, allowing users to circle or screenshot anything and instantly get AI-powered answers.
  • AI Image Editor to enhance photo resolution, erase backgrounds, and convert images into PDFs.

These tools make daily tasks like editing, searching, and multitasking smoother and more intuitive.

A Fresh, Modern Look

Vivo has redesigned the entire interface with a focus on clarity and depth. The new design introduces circular app icons, curved-edge widgets, and real-time blur effects that give a soft 3D “liquid glass” look inspired by iOS, but with Vivo’s unique touch.

The new “Atomic Island” offers quick access to controls for music, timers, and notifications, while a resizable clock widget dynamically adjusts as alerts arrive.

Underneath the visuals, the Blue River Smooth Engine powers faster performance with super-core computing, dual rendering, and photonic storage. Together, these deliver ultra-smooth animations, faster touch response, and lag-free scrolling. A refreshed lock screen with music controls and an updated control center add both style and functionality.

BlueOS 3 and CarLink 3.0

Alongside OriginOS 6, Vivo introduced BlueOS 3 for smartwatches. The update will first arrive on the Vivo Watch 5 and iQOO Watch 5 (Wi-Fi and Cellular) via public beta starting November 3.

BlueOS 3 offers:

  • Up to 33 days of battery life on the Vivo Watch GT 2
  • New always-on display faces
  • Smoother physical animations
  • Blue Heart V calling and personalized app recommendations

It shows Vivo’s growing ambition to rival Samsung’s Galaxy Watch and Apple’s WatchOS ecosystems.

Meanwhile, CarLink 3.0 brings smarter in-car connectivity. It supports faster wireless pairing, low-latency screen projection, and app syncing between smartphones and car infotainment systems. Users can manage music, navigation, calls, and notifications seamlessly from the dashboard all supported by improved voice controls.
