Summary: Vivo T4 Pro 5G is now official in India, featuring a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 6,500mAh battery, periscope zoom lens, and IP69 durability. Prices start at ₹27,999.

Vivo has added a new device to its T-series lineup with the launch of the T4 Pro 5G in India. The phone enters the crowded mid-range category but stands out with a periscope telephoto camera, a huge 6,500mAh battery, and rugged IP69 protection — features not often seen in this price segment.

Sleek build with premium protection

The T4 Pro arrives with a slim design at 7.5mm thickness and weighs just under 200g. On the front, it sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with quad-curved edges, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,000 nits brightness. This makes it well suited for outdoor use and smooth scrolling.

Unlike many mid-range phones, the T4 Pro carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering resistance to dust, submersion, and even high-pressure water jets. This makes it one of the toughest smartphones in its class.

A focus on photography

Photography is one of the biggest highlights of the new T-series model. Vivo equips the phone with a 50MP OIS primary sensor paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3x optical zoom. The telephoto lens is enhanced with Aura Light, designed to capture clearer shots in low light. A 2MP depth sensor completes the rear setup, while the front carries a 32MP selfie camera.

This combination makes the T4 Pro one of the few mid-range phones to offer a true periscope zoom experience, something usually reserved for flagships.

Strong performance and battery backup

Under the hood, the T4 Pro runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. It is available with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. To ensure stable performance during gaming and heavy multitasking, Vivo has included an advanced vapor chamber cooling system.

Battery life is a major selling point. The phone comes with a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by 90W fast charging. Vivo claims the large cell can provide extended screen-on time and even deliver several hours of usage from just a quick top-up.

On the software side, the phone launches with FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Vivo also promises four years of major Android upgrades and six years of security updates, which is a reassuring commitment for long-term users.

Pricing and availability in India

The Vivo T4 Pro is priced at ₹27,999 for 8GB + 128GB, ₹29,999 for 8GB + 256GB, and ₹31,999 for 12GB + 256GB. Buyers can choose between Nitro Blue and Blaze Gold color options.

Sales begin on August 29 through Flipkart, Vivo’s official store, and partner retailers across the country. Launch offers include cashback on select bank cards, exchange discounts, no-cost EMI options, and bundled OTT subscriptions with a Jio plan.
