Xiaomi 15T series: Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro debut globally with Leica cameras, 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED displays, big 5,500mAh batteries, HyperOS 2, and regional pricing starting at €650/£600 and €800/£650.
Xiaomi has launched the new 15T series with brighter 1.5K displays, Leica cameras, and smarter HyperOS 2 software with Google features built in. The 15T comes with a Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip and 67W charging, while the 15T Pro adds a 144Hz screen, 90W wired plus 50W wireless charging, and a 5x telephoto zoom that reaches up to 100×. Both phones feature slim bezels, IP68 water resistance, and Xiaomi’s HyperAI tools.
Design and display upgrades
The pair shares a sleek, rounded aesthetic from Xiaomi’s “Gold Collection.” The 15T comes in Black, Gray, and Rose Gold at 7.5 mm thin and 194 g. The 15T Pro arrives in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold with a fiberglass back and metal frame at 7.96 mm and 210 g. Front protection is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and both phones carry IP68 water/dust resistance tested up to 3 meters for 30 minutes.
Each model uses a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED at 2772×1280 (1.5K) with 12-bit color. The 15T refreshes up to 120Hz, while the Pro pushes to 144Hz. Peak brightness is a claimed 3,200 nits (25% APL), and eye-comfort tech includes high-frequency PWM plus TÜV certifications. Smart touches such as lock detection, smart rotation, and a smarter AOD pair with improved touch accuracy that works better with wet hands or gloves. Bezels measure roughly 1.5 mm on all sides.
Leica cameras built for everyday creators
Xiaomi continues its Leica partnership across both devices. The 15T fits a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main (f/1.7, OIS), a 50MP 46 mm telephoto for natural-perspective portraits, and a 12MP 15 mm ultra-wide. Leica Authentic and Vibrant looks, classic shutter sound, watermark, a Master-lens toolkit (23/35/46/75 mm), Xiaomi ProFocus, and up to 60× digital zoom are all onboard. Video goes up to 4K60 with HDR10+ and 10-bit LOG with LUT import for creators.
The 15T Pro steps to a 50MP Light Fusion 900 main (f/1.62, OIS) plus a 50MP 115 mm “5x Pro” telephoto with OIS and up to 100× digital zoom. Rear video tops out at 8K30 or 4K120 (main camera), with HDR10+, 10-bit LOG, and stereo/spatial audio via a three-mic array. Both phones include the 32MP front camera with up to 4K30 and HDR10+ selfie video.
Faster chips and cooling boost
The 15T runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400-Ultra (4 nm) with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage in 12/256GB or 12/512GB trims. The Pro model upgrades to the Dimensity 9400+ (3 nm) and adds a 12/1TB option. Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop system increases heat-pipe and graphite coverage versus the 14T generation for steadier gaming and long-form video capture.
Big battery with quicker charging
A 5,500mAh battery is standard across the lineup. The 15T supports 67W wired HyperCharge with a lab claim of a full charge in roughly 50 minutes. The 15T Pro boosts to 90W wired (about 36 minutes in Boost mode) and adds 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi quotes at least 80% capacity retention after 1,600 cycles.
Connectivity and special communications
Both phones support dual SIM with flexible eSIM options, wide global 5G band coverage, NFC, an IR blaster, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The 15T lists Wi-Fi 6E, while the 15T Pro advertises Wi-Fi 7 capability (regional support may vary). Xiaomi’s “Astral Communication” optimizes antenna behavior across 16 usage scenarios. “Offline Communication” for short-range voice calls is slated to roll out via OTA, with distance targets that vary by model and open-area conditions.
Software and AI
Out of the box you get HyperOS 2, with a planned HyperOS 3 OTA beginning at the end of October 2025 in select regions. Xiaomi’s HyperAI suite includes AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, AI Interpreter, AI Search, AI Dynamic Wallpapers, and an AI Creativity Assistant, while Circle to Search and Gemini round out the Google integrations.
